Founded in 2024, Tomat is a neighborhood restaurant in Westchester, Los Angeles, created by Natalie Dial and Harry Posner. Rooted in modern Californian cuisine and a farm-to-table philosophy, Tomat reflects a deep commitment to sustainable, ingredient-driven cooking and thoughtful hospitality.
Our menu follows the seasons, guided by the best produce California has to offer.
By day, Tomat operates as a cafe and lunch destination, serving espresso, pastries, and a relaxed daytime menu. By night, the experience shifts into casual fine dining, with composed plates, bold flavors, and classic cocktails in a warm, welcoming space.
Our cooking is both elevated and grounded. The menu reflects California’s diversity without being confined to a single cuisine. It features bold flavors and is designed to be shared.
Our Spaces
Tomat was designed to feel like a pocket of green in the city.
The main dining room anchors the experience downstairs. Upstairs, our private event space hosts intimate dinners, celebrations, and corporate gatherings. On the terrace, our rooftop bar offers drinks and small bites in an open-air setting designed for conversation and connection. (*Please note our rooftop is currently closed until summer 2026*).
Surrounded by our urban garden and native landscaping, Tomat brings purposeful green spaces to Westchester to welcome both locals and visitors looking for restaurants near LAX.
